Inanna is the ancient Sumerian goddess of love, wisdom, war and justice, she was widely worshipped and known as Queen of the heavens

The 8 pointed star is her symbol, I created this piece in ode to her after reading the myth of her descent to the underworld, a story of death, transformation and rebirth.
