★ A NOTE ABOUT GOLD FILLED METAL ★
Gold filled jewellery is long lasting and an affordable alternative to pure gold jewellery. The advantage is that it does not tarnish, flake off or change colour over time and generally it is suitable for sensitive skin.
Superior to gold plated metal, gold filled wire contains 100% more gold. Unlike it’s name suggests, gold filled is not actually filled with gold but consists of a base metal such as brass, with a heavy layer of gold pressure bonded to the base metal.
